Review of Village of the Damned (1995) by Tavis B — 06 Feb 2011
A small New England Town is invaded by an unseen presence which knocks the inhabitants out cold for a few hours. News of the strange phenomenon quickly spreads and a chain-smoking government scientist Dr.
Susan Verner (Kirstie Alley) is there to investigate. A few hours after the initial black-out everyone regains consciousness but the local doctor (played by Christopher Reeve) quickly realizes that a large number of the female population are pregnant including the local virgin (there's always one lol), and the pregnancy's seem to stem from the day of the black-out.
The months pass and the babies are born but as they grow into children there definitely seems to be something wrong with them. They have incredible psychic abilities, advanced intelligence, yet lack emotion.
Where did they come from? What did they want? Guess you'll have to watch to find out the answer to that one.
