Cronenburg companion piece to Scanners, more disturbing, and more metaphysical - though the message is a little muddled. Pretty gross, though primitive FX, you can see a lot of Cronenberg's later effort Naked Lunch in the strange hallucinations.
More of a statement on fetish than the power of television - for that, try Network.
