Review of Videodrome (1983) by Pan L — 18 Feb 2009
Apparently I'm in the minority of reviewers but I didn't like this film very much. James Woods is good in the lead role, Debbie Harry of the band Blondie does a nice job as a radio show therapist with masochistic tendencies, and there are some fine special effects.
Those are all the positives I can muster. The plot appears to be intentionally confusing and vague so that even after you've finished the movie you're not quite sure what happened. I found the movie to be quite unsatisfying.
