Review of Videodrome (1983) by Jt K — 22 Aug 2009
Trippy work from David Croenenberg (was there any other kind back in the 70's/80's?) involving a pirated TV signal that causes hallucinations, brain tumors, weird-abdominal VCR/vagina things. Dense, but full of ideas that are just as relevant today as they were in 1983: If media has the ability to alter the reality it broadcasts, why can't it alter the viewer himself?
