Review of Videodrome (1983) by Kenneth B — 03 Feb 2012
Cronenberg has always been a bit hit and miss for me but that's to be expected for a man who has such a diverse and challenging filmography. Videodrome is one of the best effects horror film that I have seen from the 80's, it dates surprisingly well and where others have suffered this still compels.
Also there are themes that he would reprise later in films like sex (Crash) and body-horror (The Fly) most notably. This is one of the highlights of his early career.
