Review of Videodrome (1983) by Naoya K — 24 May 2012
Definitely a brilliant film. Unbelievably tense, powerful, and addictive to its original vision from Cronenberg. The film itself is as addictive as the fictional live-violent program "Videodrome" in the picture.
I especially love the pacing of the film - it's kinda slow, and it perfectly controlled to drag you into the thrilling world in the film. Probably the film in which Cronenberg's auteurship is recognized and understood most easily and directly = one of his best works.
