Review of Videodrome (1983) by Brett H — 11 Feb 2013
Cronenberg films I take with a grain of salt because the ratio of like:dislike is not in his favour, having said that, I neither love nor hate this film. The images and the irony/satire of the plot are exceptional and the message is interesting, but the second half of the film is just a bizarre, surreal mind-bender that takes a major left turn.
The special effects are definitely the highlight here!
