Review of Videodrome (1983) by Kate H — 27 Aug 2014
Max Renn is looking for something edgy and new when he comes across a pirate broadcast called Videodrone. All it shows is torture and murder and very realistically at that. He decides that this is the new thing and he wants to find out where it came from. This leads to conspiracies, hallucinations, and hallucinations that are are just really, really gross.
It's my probably my favourite Cronenberg film and it still gets me every time.
