Review of Victor/Victoria (1982) by Willy W — 11 Jun 2009
Absolutely delightful! Andrews impressed me way more with her leading role in this film then her more famous Maria from "The Sound Of Music". The story flows almost effortlessly from the start to the end, and you almost wish you were there with them, in the 1930's Paris.
The film is like an ode to the gay artists from the 30's(oh,what the hell, everyone was at least bi-curious back then). And anyway, when did Blake Edwards ever did a bad film?! To quote my favorite two English sitcom characters: "absolutely fabulous!".
