A remarkably important film that, it is said, helped the decriminalisation of homosexuality in Britain in the mid 1960s. Bogarde is remarkable, throwing away his matinee idol status in the course of 90 minutes.
A daring and courageous film, we shouldn't forget how important movies like this were in giving us the privilages we have today.
