What a gem of a movie this one has turned out to be!!!! The name was a bit off putting and the star cast was debutantes, both things made me wonder how good it would eventually be.

Then came the promos, and it still wasn't interesting enough!! With the release came the word of mouth reviews, all of them saying how good it was. That was that, I decided this had to be seen!!

The story is quite a bold one, in the context of the Indian scenario, but one that is very relevant to our times. While most of the movie is in punjabi, if you 're a regular hindi movie watcher you'll follow it without any trouble, thanks to one Mr K Johar and his movies!!!!!!

Ayushmann Khurrana (Vicky) makes his big screen debut in this one, and he has got potential. He plays the lead quite well, though his hairstyle needs serious attention, and NOW!!!! I fear that he will be cast only in the boy next door type of roles for the next 3-4 movies, but its nice work if you can get it!!

Yami Gautam (Ashima), the female lead, another debutante, is very convincing. Its hard to believe this is her first movie. She is very confident, not at all camera conscious and quite easy on the eyes.

The other characters are so well cast, you have to wonder how the casting director can get it so right all of the time!! Vicky's mother and grandmother are an absolute delight, their chemistry is so evident and their scenes together are such fun!! Ashima's father is a class act, in a short role he sure makes it a memorable one.

However, the star of the show, undoubtedly, is Annu Kapoor. He plays the role of the much harried Dr Chaddha with such ease and aplomb. More than Vicky, it is Dr Chaddha who is the lead in the movie. Why isn't he in more movies? I hope that this is the first of many movies for this talented man, who is going to be winning the Supporting Actor awards next year, no doubt about that. His diction and pronounciation is so typically old city Delhi, its an absolute treat to watch this man weave his magic.

Not only do I recommend this movie to you, I am actually urging all of you to not waste any more time, get down to your local cinema and watch it. You'll come out with a big smile on your face, feeling a lot happier on the inside.
