Review of Vicky Cristina Barcelona (2008) by Robin H — 27 Jul 2010

I found this pretty all over the place, with too much conflict and no real resolution.

The script didn't really deserve this incredible cast. Though, I must say, I loved this cast, and quite liked the movie because of them. Unfortunately, I reckon this movie will fail if it were without familiar names. Penelope Cruz was definitely the standout in this though she didn't receive as much air time as other actor/actresses. It was interesting seeing Javier Bardem in this type of roll too.

I really loved the Spanish guitar and the language in general. It really does sound very beautiful.

It's an okay movie.
