Though Vicky Cristina Barcelona does not deserve to be listed amongst Woody Allen's greatest work, it was certainly his best in quite some time. This intriguing, low-key relationship drama contains some fine performances (particularly Bardem, Cruz and Clarkson) and manages to discuss love, art, happiness and relationships without falling into the trap of becoming inaccessible.
