Review of Vicky Cristina Barcelona (2008) by Ollie W — 16 Oct 2011
Don't know exactly what to say about this one. intelligent, examines relationships well and beautifully shot as all woody's films are, but I have to confess that I like my films to be a bit less ambiguous.
of course real life doesn't tie up everything in a neat little bow at the end either, so in that regard, this is much more realistic. have to confess that the main reason I watched this though apart from woody allen having wrote it was that it starred javier bardem.
something about him that I find very appealing. I simply love him, and he was great here.
