Vicky Cristina Barcelona is work of genius concerning tale of two women, one about to be married, and one man in Barcelona. They encounter an artist, Juan Antonio (Javier Bardem) with such a stature and request: a nice vacation to Barcelona, Spain, and threesome! One of the girls, Vicky, refuses while Cristina accepts.

However, things get ugly when Juan's ex Maria (Penelope Cruz) shows up. She is unstable and passionate which only means one thing, trouble. I can only think of such artist that may have had a stormy relationship like Diego Rivera and Frida Kahlo or Jackson Pollock.

Hmm, one of you, remind me to watch Pollock (2000). Anyways, Vicky Cristina Barcelona is pretty good film to watch as it is dramatic with a touching and provoking angle on relationships and a few funny moments.

It is also really beautiful film with great location and shot of Barcelona. Performances are fine and dandy along with strong writing and direction which you could not lose anyway if you see Vicky Cristina Barcelona.

Well, you may be caught off guard by the narration, but soon you will not mind it. Oh and ine thing to note, there is a yuppie that I am sure you will hate. I did.
