Review of Vice (2018) by Rajat Y — 28 Dec 2018

Vice is quite the movie to watch, However, I am not fan of the metaphorical digressions that seem wanting in their ways to establish context of certain technical aspects, as they aren't as demarcated as they were in Adam Mckay's 'The Big Short'. So, many such scenes seem to be part of the main story, until you realise that it would actually be too ridiculous. The movie does have quite interesting aspects to it when it comes to behind the scenes deliberations to waging the war on Afghanistan and Iraq. Let's just hope the movie's central point isn't lost to the juvenile 'liberal' and 'conservative' debate.

Watch it not for the cinematography or action, but for a whiff of the insidious dealings under the Bush Administration.
