Review of Very Bad Things (1998) by Tom R — 19 Jun 2011
I know Very Bad Things is a black comedy, but it's a much better unpredictable thriller. It's got shock humor that's more horrifying than funny and I can't say I laughed through any of it.
I was more intrigued by the escalation of the plot, always making you wonder what is going to happen next. Very Bad Things is well written and directed by Peter Berg (The Rundown, Hancock) but kind of made me feel bad I was watching it.
.. but I enjoyed it more than The Hangover.
