Review of Vertigo (1958) by Wezul S — 30 Jun 2013
This is the movie that has finally trumped Kane as the greatest movie ever? The first act was stilted & shallow, with a predictable finish. The second act redeemed itself slightly by revealing the ruse & piqued my interest. There was even a bit of sitting on the edge for me. However it all fell flat at the end, with hysterical unraveling of all the characters.
Or was that Hitch's point all along?
