Review of Vertigo (1958) by Sylvio R — 13 Sep 2011
The superb treatment of obsession in Vertigo is the most brillant tribute to cinema history that anybody ever wished for. Well-acted and amazingly executed, we have James Stewart and Kim Novak immortal statements of true love that is set apart for its circunstances.
Hitchcock's direction uses little technical resources to create an instance of images that overcomes its own pretensions with symbolic colors.
