Review of Vertigo (1958) by Steven H — 25 Nov 2011
Everyone was making this out to be Hitchcock's best movie, but I was a little bit disappointed to be honest. I didn't really like that the plot twist was revealed with about a third of the movie left and I didn't find James Stewart's character very likeable (at least compared to his character in "Rear Window").
Still, the plot twist was pretty surprising, and I was involved with the story all the way up to it. And of course the camera work is incredible, so I can recommend the movie to any fans of suspense movies.
