I have finally seen this movie and I was not disappointed. Now at the time I watched this I decided I should view classical movies before the 70s, and honestly I didn't know what to expect as I didn't overly watch classics.

However, after watching a movie that surprises on a spectacular scale, I can say 'Don't judge a book by its cover'. This movie delivers in a way that I've rarely seen. It explores the complexity of women and how much easier it is to make them who we want them to be instead of accepting them for who they are, which sounds like boring theme at first but trust me you will be converted towards the end.

It's not just the idea, it's also the superb cast, or the superb actor, this movie has made it official that James Stewart is one of my favorite actors of all time. If you want to start watching movies from an earlier era, this is one of the movies to start with.
