Review of Vertical Limit (2000) by Gavin P — 08 Mar 2008
Probably one of the strangest would-be blockbusters ever. The mountain climbing does lead to some decent stunt work and a few nail-biters involving being buried alive and falling really, really far. But did they really think audiences would flock to see Chris O'Donnell climb up a mountain with an extremely grizzled Scott Glenn.
The use of human blood as an emergency signal is pretty creative. It's basically one of those movies that's midly amusing while you're watching but destined to be forgotten.
