Wow, zombies yakuza and swords with mind powers. All wrapped up in Ryuhei Kitamura, this movie is the whole reason why Don't listen to other people's opinions on movies. They may say things about the plot, the acting, and even some of the character developement.
But this is kitamura's first film he wrote. And from this movie on he has been the fore runner of creativity in the action movie genre. His methods in motion capture brought him the role of motion capture director for part of the metal gear solid video game series.
