Review of Versus (2000) by Ben H — 20 May 2009
A lesson in style over substance, the film starts off crazy and then turns absolutely bugnuts by the end. Its fairly enjoyable with over the top action set-pieces and dark humor, but the "live-action anime" theme that the film seems to run away with gets tiring and a little irritating when two foes end up staring at eachother before a fight for what seems like an hour.
