Review of Versus (2000) by Damien K — 10 Jul 2009
I liked this a lot more when I first saw the subtitled version. While I liked the over all story (particularly the beginning and the ending in which it all made sense some how), it seemed like it was trying to cash in on the popularity of "Wild Zero", but seriously failing.
The second time I saw it, was the dubbed version and that ruined every redeeming quality it had. So it was like a big long yakuza shoot 'em up with the undead fighting back, which would only be cool if you edited it down to about an hour and a half tops.
