Review of Versailles (2008) by Chris P — 24 Aug 2008
Guillaume Depardieu puts in a strong performance as a homeless man who finds himself landed with a young boy when the child's mother abandons him while she looks for a job. Versailles is only briefly seen, avoiding heavy-handedness.
The last half hour or so is a striking reminder for those of us that work in the public sector of the people we supposedly work for.
