I'm going to start this review right off the back that I have seen the previous TV series "Veronica Mars" that this continues so I am a little more familiar with the material. From its beginning where they break down the previous three seasons to the satisfying ending for any fan this is what they have been waiting for since the 2007 abrupt cancellation. I loved the show, though I am not one of those people that paid a large sum of money to finance and appear in the film I still enjoy the show and I have to say I really enjoyed this movie. While this is only open in 210 theaters I was fortunate enough to see it and I'm glad because it is one of the most satisfying continuations to a TV show since 2005's "Serenity"; the conclusion to the sci-fi cult classic "Firefly".

For me a fan it was refreshing to see all of the characters I once loved interact and shoot out those snarky one liners as they always did but one of my favorite things that returned was that Veronica is back and that's enough to get this to a passing grade. But this did what I hoped it would do and that is tied up some loose ends and it did that very well. Along with the great returning cast (Kristen Bell, Krysten Ritter, Tina Majorino, Jason Dohring, Enrico Colantoni and Ryan Hansen are amongst my favorites) there are some very amusing cameos from Jaime Lee Curtis, Bell's real life husband Dax Shepard and "Veronica Mars" super fan James Franco. The only flaw I can give this is that people who aren't situated with the series might watch this and will have no idea what's going on where things like "Arrested Development" and "Serenity" made sure you knew what had previously happened.

My verdict on this is it was everything I wanted for the continuation and more. Great performances and an amazing blend of comedy and drama with a dash of crime thrills make this worth more than one watch and even better it leaves room for more and that leaves me giving "Veronica Mars" an A.
