Absolutely brilliant! It is perfect for the fans - it is what Kristen said - a love letter to the fans. As for non-fans of the show, it is still perfect. I took my mother and sister to see the movie and they had never watched the show- they were able to follow along and really enjoyed the movie.
They now want to watch the series so that they can fully understand all the "easter eggs" hidden throughout the movie. I would definitely recommend this movie and hope it continues to do well in the movie theater!
