This is one of my favorite films of all time. It is a very underrated film and I highly recommend it. Cate Blanchett pulls in another amazing performance to add to your resume. She put so much feeling and so much power into this role it really made me care about this character, although it isn't just a character.
She brings Veronica Guerin back to life in my opinion. She felt everything that Veronica felt and you can see that in your eyes and in her actions. It would be five star quality if it wasn't for the script.
It felt like there were holes. It knew where it wanted to go but knew it didn't have the time to get there. But in the end I still get goosebumps when I watch the film. All the way to the very emotional and haunting ending.
