Review of Venus in Fur (2013) by Tim S — 02 Sep 2015
A motion picture, based upon a play, based upon a book. The power play between the two contrasting characters dominates this claustrophobic, witty, provocative film. I was hooked from the go and carried along by the sense of intrigue, as more questions were posed than answered. Brilliant performances from both actors creates a completely immersive experience.
The final act is certainly the weakest, but you will be thinking about this film long after you finish watching.
