Review of Venus (2010) by Stav H — 13 Aug 2007
A coming to terms with life story, or a Peter O' Toole bio. This drama portrayed an interesting outlook on the other end of life, through the interactions b/w an old man and a young girl, hinting at the success of an earlier life, but now here we are.
Sometimes we forget old people were once young, and they're still human now. I think the modern portrayal of "Venus" is up to date but it is also blasphemous at the same time. But then again, Venus was a frivolous goddess anyway.
