Review of Venus (2006) by Juan B — 29 Feb 2008
Touching although a little edgy. Peter O'Toole was fabulous and should have won the Oscar. jodi Whittaker was outstanding. I didn't completely buy into their bond, though. While the film was excellently acted and portrayed an honest depiction of aging and holding on to one's past and the potential of youth and beauty, I didn't see why she would so willingly latch on to him.
