Review of Venus (2006) by Chewith I — 14 Apr 2008
This movie has the dubious distinction of being sweet, endearing and wholesome without ever being happy or good. It reminds me of About Schmidt, in a way. Peter O'Toole is both funny and touching. It has a predictable but appropriate ending, that fits the movie perfectly.
Kinda slow, I would only recommend this movie if there is nothing else that you want to see, but have to have a movie.
