Review of Venus (2006) by Mika V — 23 Apr 2008
"Venus" is a touching and moving film. The developing friendship and relationship between the characters played by Jodie Whittaker and Peter O'Toole is subtle and thoughtful. Both characters share and value their experiences with each other, which I find very appealing.
I was also delighted by the gung-ho attitude, by which O'Toole's character chooses to live his life. He most certainly has no reservations about taking risks, regardless of the outcome!
