Review of Venus (2006) by Richard J — 16 Feb 2009
The perma-cool Peter O'Toole plays an aging actor who's got the hots for Leslie Phillips' neice's daughter - the rough round the edges Jodie Whittaker. This is more a take on what it means to be old and how you become more irrelevant to sociiety - i.e. the young.
Well acted, and quite thought provoking, even if O'Toole's character comes off a tad pervy at times.
