Review of Venom (2018) by Themiggles — 05 Oct 2018
I really liked this movie. Plenty of strong action scenes, a faithful representation of the original character and his (their?) personality. It's a hundred times more entertaining and watchable than Spider-man 3's version of Venom.
Even without Spider-man as part of the origin, the details of the symbiote's beginnings are well-explained. I love that Venom is an anti-hero, like he was always intended to be, rather than a straight villain or straight hero.
Tom Hardy is the man.
