Review of Venom (2018) by Kristie H — 02 Jan 2019

I had a really great time watching this! Critics were way too hard on this movie. Was it the most well-paced? No, they could've spent less time on the set up and more time on the team up, but I really connected to eddie and appreciated the way tom hardy took his character on.

I also enjoyed that some of the usual superhero movie tropes were turned on their heads (as well they should, since venom is an anti-hero). There were some really comedic moments in this movie, which I absolutely loved.

This is a movie I could see myself watching more than once, which is a lot for me!
