Ignoring any type of current hero-genre storytelling, Venom somehow offers an entertaining experience thanks to Tom Hardy and "Venom" unique relationship and outshines its bombastic yet self-aware plot and script that seems like a 2 hour detour to a early-2000s hero flick.
