Scenes involving Venom/Eddie Brock were very entertaining and the best part of the film. Everything else... not so much. Villain was horrific, CGI was questionable and the story and characters that weren't our title characters were complete non-entities.
Wasn't expecting much but at the least it wasn't outright terrible, had bright spots among the forgettable overall film.
