This was definitely better than I expected. It all falls apart with a horrible CGI climax but the build up was thoroughly enjoyable. I felt the level of violence was just right - people who want a hard R rated Venom movie must not be familiar with the comic iteration.
This felt faithful to how I remember him from 90s comics.
