Was pleasantly surprised at how funny the movie was. Didn't have an anti hero vibe like venom from the comics but it was an enjoyable film. If you just drop the whole "venom needs spider man to be good" or "venom needs to be rated r" you'll enjoy the film.
It's not perfect, not by a long shot but it was enjoyable. Feel like way too many people are hating on the film because it isn't the venom they wanted.
