Audiences will find mild entertainment in its action scenes, the title character's few full appearances and in the two protagonists symbiotic relationship. Otherwise, "Venom" is a disastrous exercise on storytelling, filled with narrative clichés, tonal inconsistencies and disregard for the title character, and on editing, with pacing issues at all times and obvious raccord mistakes.
