Venom did the job for me. There was some intense buildup for this one (for a very long time), and the film itself really came through. I loved the sound score and the pacing. The little "hints" of Venom before he was fully unveiled was tantalizing and well orchestrated.
Overall, an excellent popcorn flick for the whole family with some adrenaline packed moments!
