Venom is just what anyone paying attention should have expected the move to be - quippy, chock-full of CGI, and a pretty good time all things considered. If you're a fan of the character from the comic books I trust you'll like this movie.
If you are a fan of comic book movies I trust you'll like this movie. If you need an R rating to validate your interest? Well, maybe you won't like this movie.
