I am not ashamed to say that I loved Venom. It is one of the funniest movies I have seen in a long time. I adored Tom Hardy's chemistry with Tom Hardy, and I am not sure what the critics were smoking in their reviews for this one.
Sure, it has its flaws. But I had a great time, and so did my entire family. Don't let your preconceptions or others' negativity keep you from going to see this movie. There are some films that I really want to like, and some I recommend even though I have major misgivings or caveats about them.
This isn't one of them. I can't wait to see it again, and I can't wait for the sequel.
