Review of Venom (2005) by Bobbys. — 26 Oct 2005

I went into this movie with really low expectations, but in the end I had a good time. Why? Well, this movie didn't try to be self-referential, or funny, or anything that bogs down a lot of recent horror movies.

Instead it knew what it wanted to show. It wanted to show teenagers getting killed in violent, interesting ways. I succeeds at that, and ends up being pretty fun, not all that scary, but still enjoyable.

Plus, the ending of the movie is really great, tight, and actually had me on the edge of my seat. Not bad. Not a classic, but fun.
