Review of Vengeance (1968) by Trent R — 10 Mar 2010
Nice to see this again in the original aspect ratio, with lots of high-angle, off-kilter and POV shots. Harrison gives a good performance as the weary but driven Joko/Rocco, working his way through the villains by whatever vicious means he is met with in turn.
Camaso seems genuinely deranged in their final conflict, and the sulphur cavern hideout provides an unusual backdrop. The 81 min. runtimes given by IMDB and Amazon are incorrect, either version you get is over 100 min.
