I would recommend informing yourself about this before seeing it - it makes more sense now knowing what it supposed to depict.. It's a little unclear which relationships or struggles the director wanted to follow.

It's a very rich subject, and it could have been explored in many different directions. I loved the actors!! they did a wonderful job with a task that was not easy. If you love the music of the time, this is for you, and you might know more of the 'stories' around the artists of the time than I did.

.. Good movie, a little confusing, definitely very graphic, so not for the shy at heart...
