Review of Velvet Goldmine (1998) by Steve H — 02 Sep 2009
It's glamorous, glossy and gay, everything in a film that I would usually love, but somehow I am not a fan of Todd Haynes when he becomes too arty and a little bit pretentious. But at least Ewan McGregor's in the film for eye candy.
And since I don't like Citizen Kane so much, any film that has of any resemblance to its plot structure and style is a no-no.
