Review of Velvet Goldmine (1998) by Helen L — 07 Sep 2012
Interesting glam rock story that has some good acting from Meyers, Bale, Collette and Izzard, and especially from Ewan McGregor who basically steals every scene he is in. The story itself is alright but unfortunately it is completely over shadowed by the language, drugs and excessive nudity both male and female that fills Velvet Goldmine throughout the story, and it is that which only allows me to give it 2 stars.
